St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Regatta

Organizers of the St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Regatta announced today that a famous Fife yacht build in 1924 has signed up for the upcoming regatta in January 2007.

The classic ketch "Adventuress" Certified by the United States Coast Guard, can carry up to 29 day guests or 6 overnight guests.

"Adventuress" has been painstakingly restored during an extensive, award winning four-year refit.

With sweeping teak decks, extended overhangs, a traditional raised panel mahogany interior, gleaming brightwork and plush tufted upholstery, she is a true connoisseur’s yacht and will come to the Caribbean by the end of November for the first time since her restoration.

With an interior featuring a full beam, mahogany panelled main saloon, teak deck house, three separate guest cabins, three heads, complete galley and crew accommodations, "Adventuress" is suitable for extended cruising in comfort and style.

The yacht will definitely sail in the St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Regatta and depending on charter requests also in the St.Barth's New Years races, Heineken Regatta, Antigua Sailing Week and Antigua Classics and others.
