In a announcement today, president and CEO of Staten Island Yacht Sales, Frank Bongiorno, stated that the company will hold the grand opening of its waterfront Montuak Yacht Club office on Saturday, May 27th, 2006 with festivities planned throughout that weekend. The Montauk Yacht Club office on Long Island, New York is just 20 minutes from the Hamptons and logistically situated as a central hub of activity for large yacht travelers during the northeast yachting season.
The new office will cater to Staten Island Yacht Sales' burgeoning largernew and pre-owned yacht segment. New yacht offerings will include Viking Yachts, Marquis, Viking Sport Cruisers and Ocean Yachts, all part of the company's "Yacht Division". In addition the company will offer its newest addition, the Cabo Yachts line and act as a full-service brokerage facility.
Bongiorno commented on the new office, "Our Montuak Marina and Yacht Club office is in a gorgeous location robust with cruising activity. It also acts as a serious sportfishing hub, one of the best worldwide. This new office will cater to our growing segment of large yacht owners with new yacht offerings that are suited for the area along with full brokerage services that offer quality pre-owned yachts."
He added that the company plans to hold it's Staten Island Yachts' 2006 2nd Annual Rendezvous at this location August 18th - 20th, 2006. "It was a huge success last year, our customers are in love with the serene, natural beauty of the area and it is easily accessible from their summer residences. We expect the turnout at our rendezvous to be huge, it will be the event of the season."
