The world’s first alternative-fueled high-speed powerboat, the 78-foot wave-piercing Earthrace, is making its East Coast debutEXCLUSIVELY at the 47th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show®.

Earthrace is a unique tri-hull, futuristic-looking powerboat fueled entirely by alternative sources such as soy, canola, grape extract, and even human body fat! Earthrace handles the roughest seas and bursts from Point “A�? to Point “B�? by submarine-ing through waves, not going over them.

WHY:

Earthrace begins a world-record breaking attempt next March for a powerboat circumnavigating the globe in less than 65 days (therecord is currently 75 days). Its Boat Show visit will build excitement and momentum for this attempt, while raising awareness about the true power of alternative fuel sources.
